The Princeton University Service and Civic Engagement Steering Committee has named Mario Gandelsonas a Faculty Fellow in Service and Civic Engagement. Gandelsonas, Professor of Architectural Design, was recognized for his commitment to incorporating civic engagement into his courses. He is among the more than sixty Princeton faculty members who have been named Fellows so far.
With the University's longstanding commitment to service, the Steering Committee recently established the Faculty Fellows program to honor and support faculty who are active in teaching, research, or mentoring activities in these vital areas. Faculty Fellows will meet from time to time to share reflection, ideas, and best practices, inspired by guest speakers and short readings and hosted over a meal or other social opportunity.
