Carrie entered the Architecture History and Theory PhD program at Princeton in Fall of 2019. She is currently working on her dissertation, an architectural history of light steel in the United States between 1920-4x, through which she investigates the transformation of American architecture’s political economy. The project seeks to contribute to growing contemporary literature in architectural history on capitalism, labor and materials. Carrie is also a licensed architect with experience working on all phases of projects ranging from small design-build residential to large university science and technology buildings.
