Art & Archaeology Visual Resources Collection

The Department of Art & Archaeology’s Visual Resources Collection in McCormick Hall covers prehistoric to contemporary art and architecture of the West and East.  Art and Archaeology has licensed the entire Saskia collection for campus use, and has also jointly licensed (with Architecture) the Archivision collection.  The Bridgeman Education collection has been jointly licensed with the Princeton Library.

Digital images from Art & Archaeology and Architecture are available to search and download for research and class presentations in Almagest, Princeton’s online media catalog, and ARTstor, a digital library containing approximately 1.5 million images.
