Available to all SoA students is a photo studio with two backdrops (white and black), and a small selection of lights. A copy stand is also located in the Studio for overhead shots. There are also DSLRs and tripods available for one-day loan.
Photographic equipment may be used elsewhere in the Architecture Building, but it may not be removed from the building and it must not be left unattended under any circumstances. Any equipment that has been signed out overnight must be returned by 10:00 am the following morning.
When a student borrows the key to the photo studio, he/she assumes the responsibility of the space and its contents, including any additional borrowed equipment. For this reason, it is advisable to keep the room locked when not in use; to turn off all lights when not in use; and not to give the key to someone else.
