Spring 2022 FAQs

Here are the most frequently asked questions. Please return to this page often. Questions and answers will be posted regularly.

 

Q: Are masks required indoors?

A: YES. Everyone must wear a mask indoors, vaccinated or unvaccinated, unless alone in a space or when eating or drinking.

 

Q: How often do I have to complete the Asymptomatic Testing Program, and how do I do it?

A: (As of January 2022) Once weekly for faculty and staff; Twice weekly for undergraduates, graduates, unvaccinated faculty, Thrice weekly for students in sports. You can follow the instructions for testing at: covid.princeton.edu/testing/taking-test

 

Q: Who has to complete the Daily Symptom Check?

A: All faculty, researchers, staff, and students who are not fully vaccinated (two weeks have passed since the final dose of the vaccine) are required to complete the Daily Symptom Check before entering any University building, other than their University residence, for any amount of time.

Faculty, researchers, staff, and students who are not fully vaccinated and live off-campus must use the Daily Symptom Check before coming to campus. Students who are not fully vaccinated and live in University housing must use the Daily Symptom Check before leaving their residence to enter any University building.

 

Q: I'm fully vaccinated, but I feel sick. Should I come to school?

A: No. Vaccinated or not, if you are feeling ill or have any covid-related symptoms, stay home.

 

Q: Can I bring a friend, family member, or guest into the building?
A: No. Casual visitors are not allowed inside the SoA at any time. The only permitted visitors will be sponsored by or invited by the SoA, and must be fully vaccinated.

 

Q: Can I access the shops any day of the week?

A: Yes. Previous limits on building occupancy have been removed. Social distancing is not required, but you must wear your mask.

 

Q: Can I access the computer room and printing rooms any day of the week?

A: Yes. Previous limits on building occupancy have been removed. Social distancing is not required, but you must wear your mask.

 

Q: Can I access the School of Architecture Library any day of the week?

A: Yes. Previous limits on building occupancy have been removed. Social distancing is not required, but you must wear your mask.

 

Q: Will events be in-person, hybrid, or virtual?

A: At the moment, indoor events are open only to Princeton University ID holders and sponsored/approved visitors. The SoA will provide information on participation formar in all event announcements.

 

Q: Where can I find information about plans for Graduation events?

A: The University has a Commencement Guide for the Classes of 2022 and 2020 here: https://commencement.princeton.edu. The SoA will provide more information on Class Day as it gets closer to the date.
