Julian Rose is co-founder of the design studio Formlessfinder and the Architecture Editor of Artforum magazine. He received his Masters of Architecture from Princeton University and his BA from Harvard University in Art and Architectural History. With Formlessfinder, Rose has completed design projects at a variety of scales for clients ranging from The Museum of Modern Art and Design Miami to Blue Hill restaurant. Rose has written extensively on art and architecture, contributing essays to exhibition catalogs on artists such as Sarah Oppenheimer, Andrea Zittel, and Valie Export, as well as numerous articles to publications such as Log, Artforum, Perspecta, and October. Rose has taught architectural design and history at Columbia University and Princeton University.
