Curators: Kate Yeh Chiu and Andrew MacMillan
Collateral 1961 - 2016 looks at the Princeton University School of Architecture’s archived print material, revealing a culture of collaboration between graphic and architectural designers, historians, and theorists. The posters, originally produced as ephemeral objects in support of a main event, are now highlighted as primary artifacts. From the school’s formative years to the present, the prints display a history of noteworthy graphic production that evolved parallel to the pedagogical and discursive content of symposia, exhibitions, and other programming.
