This project was an athletic squash facility for children from middle school to high school. The students participated in athletic training and academic help after school. The building's interior provided a safe, inward-facing space for athletics and academics. On the other hand, the building's exterior provided a public space for the community. The project gave the majority of the site to the community as a public park. This park was connected to a series of nearby parks by a bridgeway that was an extension of the building's roof. In other words, a walking path allowed the public to occupy and cross over on top of the building's roof to cross into to a series of nearby parks. Additionally the building provided a covered outdoor program area for the park. This covered area housed a small cafe, a walking path, and bleacher seating.
